Just wanna scream into the void that this is literally only about how nobody ****in the senate**** likes him enough to work with him. But everybody is blowing it up and posting it with pictures of his rallies. I wish people gave a **** about context instead of making everything as bombastic as possible.

I googled it ... exactly 1 US Senator endorsed him. Which is what she was talking about in her quote. so that was true:

Did he "get nothing done"? no. That's totally wrong. Is she giving an emotional answer that exaggerates her opinion that he could've done more if he was better at building coalitions within the senate? Seems like it!

hundreds of people were already lined up for clinton and announced their endorsement for hillary before bernie even announced.

I'm not giving her a pass. I literally said this wasn't constructive but I was nonetheless enjoying his supporters crying about this.

Anywho, I just switched from Warren to Sanders (after she coordinated with CNN to pull of that faux-women-can't-be-president scandal) with that being said..... I still don't feel him. I feel his policies and that's what I'm focusing on.

And Obama still went on to win in a landslide while Clinton lost to a reality game show host.

-Bernie ran a nasty campaign against her! - He gave up the email scandal immediately in 2016 while the Clinton campaign literally circulated this image of Obama to play into her supporters' and America's racism:

Three. They're scared he'll win. And they should be. And that's what makes this embarrassing display so satisfying.

Look, she's not wrong. He's been a Senator for 30+ years with only 7 bills to his name. (Warren has been in the senate for 6 years, has 9 bills, Hillary was in Senate for 8 years, passed 16 bills) Sure, numbers of bills aren't everything but most of his weren't even substantive.

2  were for naming post offices. 1 was for a Vermont-related holiday. He also has a history of voting for war authorizations, especially ones that benefit military bases in Vermont (even though he voted against the war in Iraq.) And his campaign attacked Hillary for her support of the crime bill as First Lady, even though he actually voted for it. Also, the beginning of his career was heavily funded by the NRA...leading him to "conveniently" vote against the Brady Bill (gun control)....5 separate times. He wants to hold everyone else to a high standard that he can't seem to hold himself to.

Also, if you ask the people of Vermont, they're WAY less impressed by him than those who learned about him in 2016. They often wonder how he can be so passionate about Medicare for All and college debt yet he hasn't been able to bring any of those things to the state that he represents, and many residents didn't even know he cared about these issues. 

Finally, I like to listen to the good Gay Barney Frank on this. He's a true progressive and one of the architects of the strictest financial regulations Wall Street has ever seen, and is one of the reasons our country isn't more oligarchical than it already is. 

"Bernie Sanders has been in Congress for 25 years with little to show for it in terms of his accomplishments, and that’s because of the role he stakes out...Bernie alienates his natural allies,” Frank said. “His holier-than-thou attitude—saying in a very loud voice he is smarter than everyone else and purer than everyone else—really undercuts his effectiveness.”

He has no serious legislative accomplishments that make me think he can pass one of the most significant reforms in American history (M4A).

Bottom line, Bernie is a politician, just like any other, and folks who bend over backwards to give him the benefit of the doubt are being naive. Why shouldn't he be held to the same standard every other politician has? If a candidate running against him had his weaknesses, he and his supporters would never let them hear the end of it. Bernie shouldn't get a pass.

Sanders fought Hillary tooth-and-nail and his supporters showed absolutely disgusting displays of disrespect at the 2016 DNC convention. They booed veterans and civil rights activists and prevented the party from unifying to defeat Donald Trump. 

Sanders is smarter than his supporters-though- because he did not attack Hillary back. He knows that she has the support of MILLIONS of Americans that he NEEDS to win an election against Donald Trump. Sanders is keeping his mouth shut, because he knows that she can prevent him from winning. It's really that simple.

Hillary Clinton is an incredibly powerful woman. Even Bernie the sexist knows not to cross her.

Bernie has the lowest score for bipartisan dealmaking in the Senate. He is the least effective senator in the history of the Senate in terms of things he's accomplished. None of these are opinions; they are facts.
