A)That's not true. There are  alot of polls that have him even tied to Bernie right now.

B) All of those polls have a 4-5% margin of error.

C) Those polls were mostly taken before they announced the actual winner of Iowa.

D) Buttigieg's numbers have consistently gone up the past two weeks while Bernie's are flatlining. Buttigieg literally surged upward an average of 14 points in the past week in NH.

So many of those statements are false. Most polls still show a Bernie lead. 4 polls post-Iowa have Bernie gaining substantial ground and winning. He has not had a 14 point bounce - that is hilariously wrong.

It's going to be a close race for sure. Alot closer than a week ago, that I know for a fact.

That poll was taken 2 days ago...it now finds Bernie with a comfortable 8 point lead in the poll they just released minutes ago. :)

Unfortunate. Pete is one of the most unprogressive candidates ever. :rip: He doesn't even support 6 weeks of paid leave a year and talks constantly in platitudes. He's funded more and more by billionaires and claims that's a good thing. He's not enacting any "public option" or cancelling any student debt.

This is the average.

The latest tracked poll Boston Globe/Suffolk shows Bernie has an 8 point lead. :ohwell: This poll was conducted 2/8 to 2/9 (aka TODAY). On average, Bernie has a 5.3 point lead. Still a close race.

The latest polls by Suffolk University and Emerson College, have Bernie at a pretty comfortable lead over Pete

Especially since this IS the poller that the USA Today article in the OP talks about :rip: Even they show Bernie with a big lead now.

He was obliterated in the debate for his awful record and I'm glad.

Like some kind of maternity or parental leave after a child's birth?

:ladyhaha:

It’s infuriating how no one on that debate stage or any of the moderators still haven’t called out Pete for trying to fake his black politician support in SC :awkney:

But he won’t win so I guess there’s no reason to be mad about it, ABC came through and tanked Pete :vegas:

No, I meant paid vacation time (accrued or otherwise). :) Edited my post to remove "family" because that makes it seem like it's about maternal or paternal leave (which he is in favor of).

But he doesn't want to guarantee even 6 weeks of paid vacation time a year which is already standard in many states.

What a weird thing to be a conservative about :rip:

Like, we know what has massive public approval and what doesn't. This is an easy ball park position to be progressive about that not even moderate Dems generally would oppose :duck: It was the weirdest thing about Joe's platforms too to me. Like, yes, Obama, nostalgia, normalcy, malarkey, I disagree with all of it, but... being against things like Legalizing Marijuana? In 2020? Being WEAK on Climate Change? :wtf: That's just unnecessarily bad politicking, you should at least fake being progressive to get support like Bloomberg is doing with his policies :deadbanana: The alternative explanation is that these candidates are signaling to wealthy donors what things they will be allowed to get away with under a potential ___ Presidency I guess. I can't think of an alternate reason to hold purposefully unpopular positions, and in a realm where personal convictions and beliefs means absolutely jack **** for 9/10 politicians, I just don't buy it. Why doesn't he support increasing paid parental leave, its bizarre.
