The only people who were off by like more than 3 or so points was actually Pete/Biden. The answer to why is very simple. The pollsters over polled the oldest of voters, less of those people showed up and the people who came for biden in the precincts he was not viable, a disproportionate amount of his support went to Pete in the second alignment. In terms of popular vote, the polls accurately showed Bernie winning first choice vote by about 3 and a half points as indicated in the above average of polls. Why do I mention this? The story in NH shows that Bernie is in the lead by about 5 points. Since this is a primary and doesn't have alignment changes like the caucus system, the more likely scenario is that Iowa gave Pete the boost in order to be viable in NH but not enough to take it from Sanders. Biden wouldn’t until after Super Tuesday. Him losing Texas and Virginia would be a done deal. I expect Amy to drop after NH. Biden is going to keep going until SC unless he hits like 4th place again. I do know they cancelled some ads for SC and changed it to go to NV instead. So it's clear that they realize they have to do better or the campaign is over. Let's see how they do in NH. Amy will drop out soon. Once she hits a state where she only gets single digits that'll happen. I don't know that'll happen in NH but likely NV. IDK who Pete will choose but I doubt it would be Warren. The more likely scenario would be that Pete makes a deal to give Warren a spot in the administration (Sec of Treasury or something) if she drops out and endorses him (giving him her delegates as well). If she goes this route, she would do this after SC and before Super Tuesday so she doesn't get pummeled in her home state of MA by Bernie. It'll risk her looking weak if she did and that could mean somebody chooses to primary her. I could be wrong but to think and to expect that people of color would just jump on a candidate who has been very bad to POC in his city of south bend just because Obama said so is to treat POC as a monolith and I just don't think that's something that makes sense to me.
