Whether the real single will be Stupid Love or not, Gaga is still going to be riding from the success of ASIB and will chart regardless.

It could be. People are a lot more open and appreciative to her now and the song is great. Even the radio could play it. 

All her lead singles so far had a great start so a top 5 is resonable, though it's unsure if it'll really be the lead single.

I don’t think so, but I don’t care. I love it more than most gaga songs already , and at this point in her career she has won so much I just want the music not the bling (yes I’m selling y’all on that cliche now) - but actually truly ? She can bounce back from anything so I’m glad she’s confident enough to experiment with disco and give us something so fun regardless of if it’s divisive. I love it.

How is Don't Start Now doing in the charts atm? If it's doing great, then I have faith SL will at least reach top ten. If Gaga's team played their cards right, this could be a hit.

It peaked at #14 yesterday, but Dua is British and nowhere near Gaga's level in terms of popularity in the US. New Rules, for example, was a huge hit WW and seemed to be everywhere but it peaked at #6 in the BBH100.

Top 10 is on lock and top 5 is very likely as well. She has gained A LOT of fans and people interested in her after ASIB. If the promotion is well done I wouldn't say a #1 is impossible

I think if they play their cards right, Stupid Love (if it's even the lead) will have huge potential to become a major hit. I said what I said, it's a fun, catchy pop song, people might eat it up
