None of what you said changes the fact that things actually CAN be secure enough but WAS NOT, so go off on me if you want, and I get what you're trying to say, but to say that Gaga is blameless means she does not have any control whatsoever over her album release.

So, whatever.

Interscope/UMG is the one who sent it to the radio station where it allegedly leaked. How on earth can that can be twisted around to be Gaga's fault? It not like she was sharing it on an unsecure sound cloud....which still wouldn't be her fault (it'd be the thieves) but at least I could sort of understand your point in that scenario.

If you are going to come for someone that's not the thieves, come for Interscope/UMG for sending the track so early to the radio station or the radio station itself.  And yeah, Gaga is blameless in this situation—you think she's powerful enough that she can tell Interscope/UMG to send it super early even if they think it's  bad idea?

As long as you don't spread it around on social media or spill info about it on social media AND still stream/buy, you shouldn't feel bad. Yes, it's technically wrong (it's stolen property) but there are levels of bad behavior. Listening to it is one thing (I'm guilty of it)...trashing it publicly before it even gets a chance, spreading it, etc. is another.

Oh give me a break. You knew you shouldn't have listened to it but you did without a seconds thought. Don't come with the guilt trip now. 🙄

as long as you are still gonna give an artist your support, attention, streams, etc then you shouldn't feel guilty for listening to a leak if you legit are curious. I disagree with the common idea that it ruins hype for a release, true fans never stop hyping

If the song was stolen from a server or Interscope sent a promo CD to someone that leaked it, then it is unequivocally not her fault. I truly have no idea why the hell people are blaming Gaga when she literally has ZERO power over things like that.

The blame would fall on Interscope and the thieves who stole it. Gaga does not oversee every single little thing or person that handles the music. That is not how the music industry works at all as the label handles most of the promotion like sending promo CDS to the radio stations, etc.
