I think some ppl have forgotten how hyped that song was and then how front loaded it's success was (debut at #1 then stayed there for weeks in a row)

 

It wasn't Gaga's Biggest commercial hit overall but the success was very concentrated the first several weeks upon release

Gaga was the biggest superstar on the planet at the moment of BTW's release. like she literally had the whole world on her fingertips. 

Adele is massive too, of course, but the level of her fame has never reached the hysterical levels of Gaga mania circa 2010-early 2011. 

so I'm not surprised about this.

Not sure but the radio tracking week was different from the sales week... I think it got close to a full first week for radio anyway
