Trump: DNC rigging against Bernie again

Featured Posts

Economy

I think he wants Bernie to win cuz he thinks he's probably easier to criticize and turn America against him. IIn his view Biden is not only more electable... But because he's not as opposite to Trump, it's not as easy to criticize an opponent more simmilar to you without criticizing yourself or without contrasting big differences

It was Like Centre-Wing Trudeau Trudeau here in Canada arguing with Centre-Right Conservative party during the election. Their arguments:

Conservatives: "The Corporate tax rate at 15% is too high because the average effective rate is now 1% higher than in the US, we should long term cut it to 14% to compete"

Trudeau: "No says Trudeau we have a deficit and need investment spending so we keep it at 15%" :air:

Conservatives: "Were gonna help struggling parents by refunding taxes from maternity leave benefits"

Liberals: "Were gonna remove taxes  period so you don't have to wait till income tax time"

Conservatives: "We're gonna lower bottom income tax bracket 1.75%"

Liberals: " Were gonna raise the no tax threshold marginally"

It was so laughable and that would be Biden and Trump :air:

So I'm not surprised he would low-key prefer Bernie

I completely disagree.

He’s mentioned before that policies like free healthcare and college will be hard to beat.

He wants Joe Biden to be the nominee so he can bring up his disastrous record and creepy things he’s done to smear him on live TV.

Let's take you to Chanel cuz' you look like hell.

Three facts for your consideration:

1. Trump actively tried to court disaffected Sanders supporters in 2016 and is doing it again in 2020. Will it work? Will you let it?

2. Every senator currently running for president will be similarly called back to DC - including Warren and Klobuchar, both of whom are making very strong plays in the two earliest states (Iowa and New Hampshire) as well. So to say this is just to put Sanders at a disadvantage isn't accurate anyway - frankly Warren and Klobuchar have more to lose, since Sanders has a higher base of support than they do and he could more easily recover in later voting states than they could.

3. Regardless of when Pelosi sent the articles over, the trial would have been at some point in January anyway since the House impeached Trump in late December. So regardless of when Pelosi sent them, Trump would have been able to say it was too close to Iowa. Again, it's just a talking point to try to stir the pot, just like how he played up the Warren-Sanders feud a few days ago. He wants you to be mad.

Did he lie DID HE LIE DID HE ****ING LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE.gif

DNC and CNN hard at work to discredit Bernie because he's rising in the polls.

Trump is only defending Bernie because he'd like to steal his voters if Bernie doesn't win the nomination.

It's also worth noting that a major televised news event like this will give Sanders and the other senators direct access to millions of Americans' television screens at a time when most Democrats are now just solidifying their candidate preferences. Remember that Klobuchar, Booker, and Harris all got a lot of presidential buzz during the Kavanaugh hearings in 2018. If Sanders (or Warren or any of the others) play their cards right and get some viral moments, they could benefit politically. Add to that the fact that their surrogates (including high-profile endorsers like AOC for Sanders and Castro for Warren) will likely be criss-crossing Iowa and New Hampshire over the next month, and it's hard for me to understand how a week-long trial spells doom for Bernie Sanders. I think he's going to perform very well in Iowa.

1. Yes, he lied. There's no proof the DNC (as a reminder, Nancy Pelosi does not have a position at the DNC) is rigging anything.

2. Over the past two months (from mid-November to mid-January), Sanders has grown less than one point nationally. Warren has fallen 4, Biden has stayed even, and Buttigieg has fallen about 1. He seems to have a ceiling of about 22% support that his polling average has never been above. (Go here and change the dates to see what I'm looking at - I'd post a screenshot but idk how to host images anymore now that GGD doesn't do imgur :laughga: )

3. You're absolutely right about this. And if Sanders voters flock to Trump in the general election it will be really hard for the rest of us to take their purity tests and their "moderate democrats might as well be republicans" arguments seriously in the future.

There have been several reports that Trump constantly brings up that Socialism will be hard to beat, and that he's very worried about a face off with Sanders. Even asking aids about how he's polling against him in swing states like Pennsylvania.

Just to clarify, according to the latest polling, Sanders' supporters are the least likely to vote for Trump if their pick doesn't get the nomination.

This constant handwringing about Sanders supporters throwing the election to Trump out of spite has always been ridiculous. Yes, Trump is right in the sense that the DNC doesn't want him to be the nominee and yes, media figures find him absurd and trash him relentlessly, but the idea that this messaging would actually pull Sanders' base to Trump is now, statistically, unbelievably unlikely.

A new poll from this week showed that when asked, only four percent of Sanders voters would vote for trump over any of the other three top contenders if he did not get the nomination. For the other three top contenders, Biden and warren were double (8-10%), and Buttigieg was triple at 12%. So I don't think Sanders' supporters are the ones to worry about.

Edit: See above. lol

Actually he's trying to turn Bernie's base against Nancy because if the impeachment.

It will work. They are not highly educated.

They know damn well that Sanders voters are not Trump-friendly or even sharing Trump vision whatsoever...

That's just one more cheap smearing technique to always repeat you're afraid they'll vote Trump next time like if it was very plausible... :madge:
