Remember the applause demo with the mumbling of melodies and little to no actual lyrics. It has that crazy breakdown towards the end that gave me so much life. I imagine that was Gaga's plan for ARTPOP after she moved past the "death of the popstar" theme she teased initially "LG4". Let's not forget how Gaga talked about how she wanted Joanne to be completely stripped back see Angel down (work tape) vs. album version. Or how Diane exposed that Interscope didn't want TIHTY on any of Gaga's albums. Or how Gaga teased that PARTY NAUSEOUS was supposed to be an electronic j-pop influenced banger but Interscope was marketing Kendrick as more "urban" and less "experimental".
