From what was said, I think the director originally wanted Ursula to be very Vanessa-like for those prince seduction scenes, but after Gaga was nixed they didn't want a drag queen either, since a drag queen seducing the prince was too edgy for Disney. So they went with Melissa, and I'm assuming they're just going to get some random to play Ursula now when she becomes Vanessa. Anyway, I'm pretty happy she's not playing her because these Disney live action remakes are so awful and devoid of creativity Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
