Trump tweets in Farsi to the Iranian people

Are you talking about Trump getting elected?

Nah I just meant war and how so many peoples' lives have been lost and all the people who served in the military including veterans who Republicans claim to care about have disabilities and PTSD from it all. Endless killing of innocent civilians abroad, endless killings of military personnel of the US, all because the US wants to play big brother and invade countries it has no business in.

I thought people would've learned from the war in Iraq and Vietnam before that how wars are useless and the US shouldn't try to fix other countries' problems using military force (they have often done it to install puppet governments for their oil). The US will literally go out of their way to take over a democratically elected government elsewhere out of a fake concern and install a puppet dictator there. :awkney:

And imagine, the US has been at war for ALL of your life. This is not normal. :saladga: No other country does this. it may not feel like war because very few American civilians are dying but even under Obama, hundreds of innocent children in the Middle East who had done nothing wrong were killed. :saladga: The US needs to get it together and mind their business. This is indefensible.

@derpmonster If only a little over half the country thought like you through this whole thing, we could have ended all this unnecessary battling :/

Imagine if Obama ever tweeted in a language like Persian, conservatives would go CRAZY.

No matter what Iranian leaders have done, no matter how Iranian people feel about their government, the US has no place intervening and trying to be global moral police especially when they can't fix their own domestic land and always have ulterior motives.

the mess in iran was created by the US and British. it could be argued it is their obligation to try and free the iranian people as best they can

Yeah, when his tweets include things like hyphens and the word "nor", you can tell that he didn't think of this himself.

You can tell that he didn’t write those tweets :rip:

The way he’s pretending to care about the Iranian people :rip:

We know this game. The US pretends to be an advocate for human rights in a ME country and then uses it as an excuse to attack said country’s government in order to start another war which is intended to ultimately be beneficial to US geopolitical interests.

Imagine thinking that America spreads freedom and democracy instead of plundering natural resources and installing puppet dictatorships around the globe :rip:

Lion Heart

It's all gas-lighting with these people.

Just last week, Trump threatened to bomb Iranian cultural sites, and now he says he always "stood with the people of Iran"? Such absolute bullshit. It's nauseating.

isn't it the same but Farsi is how iranians/arabs refer to it and persian is how it's referred to in English?

This is what I’ve always thought lol. But I guess Farsi is more accurate in this context.

But can you trust them to fix it right? They are always going to do anything they do with ulterior motives and install another puppet that will then turn against them and then more war. Best situation is to leave.

persian is a language family. the specific. language trump wrote is farsi. persian includes farsi, dari, etc.

i think the best thing they can do is report on it (which they didn’t in November) to justify what the iranians are doing by protesting. the more global attention the protests get, the more likely they will succeed in getting a real democracy.
