Some of peoples intentions to be edgy and hip never ceases to amaze me... Probably cause they weren’t even born in those eras, no shade all tea The OG’s who lived every era know this question has no answer tho; every album had an impact someway and we can’t really tell which had the least. Suspiria 10,683
Most people don't even know Joanne exists. Yeah the SB happened to occur during that era, but it was literally just a TF/M throwback that had nothing to do with Joanne's sound or aesthetics. Anyone claiming Joanne influenced Kesha and Miley... wow the delusion.
FfFfFfFF 56,316
Even though it's one of her best and I'm vocal about how I don't agree with the hate it gets, it must be ARTPOP. The Fame was trend-setting in the way it's the epitome of late 2000s pop and all singles became club stamples, not to mention all the comercial success it had. The Fame Monster: same like TF, so many usual-looking pop stars started to experiment with darkness and wear over the top outfits. TF and TFM changed the cultural and music climate of their times. BTW also had cultural and comercial impact and was amazingly received by the fanbase . Joanne should get credit for being the first rootsy vocal-heavy country-inspired records from 2016/2018. But by the time ARTPOP came people weren't paying attention to her, so the record it didn't make an impact.

Kesha didn't go Joanne era route because of Gaga. It is because the influence of her roots of music before Tik Tok is exactly Americana-influenced, with hints of country. I'm like some kind of supernova
Edonis 28,950
How anyone could even vote for The Fame or The Fame Monster Literally so many people were trying to copy those sounds and aesthetics. Maybe some were too young to notice or didn't pay attention
Lucas 27,320
TF : Brought back pop music, started Gaga's career TFM : Started the trend of wearing "crazy outfits" + forced pop girls to step up their game with their visuals, cemented Gaga's position as a big pop girl BTW : Literally saved lives and started discussions about acceptance I can't find anything for ARTPOP or Joanne tbh
AVeryGagaHolyDick 26,129
It's obviously between ARTPOP and Joanne… You have to be lost in your life to vote for an other album
Rino 5,120
I think all of her albums have been impactful to different degrees, yes, even ARTPOP and Joanne 月にかわって、おしおきよ!🌙
Bradley 59,245
ARTPOP, which is actually one of my favourite albums of all time. Joanne changed the perspective of many people of the GP on her, it's kinda the starting point of her career taking a new trajectory.
