TheQueenEnthusiast 937
Which album do you think had the least impact? (only counting her non collaborative albums) also counting TFM as it's own album because aesthetic it's just different. I should remind y'all as ID-Vice says " Joanne helped spearhead the rise of the “rootsy” pop record. Before Justin Timberlake took a trip the woods and prior to Kylie Minogue’s visit to Dollywood, Lady Gaga and Mark Ronson cooked up an Americana album that’s both equal parts personal as it is performative...Joanne’s personal interiority could be read as well presented pretence. Regardless of its sincerity, Joanne is an intriguing sonic pivot that has helped sparked a rise in “rootsy” back-to-basics pop music. https://i-d.vice.com/en_au/article/xw75x3/10-ways-that-lady-gaga-changed-the-world Do with that information what you will

SHALLOW 16,443
TFM. The singles are well known but the album itself wasn’t that impactful and its concept didn’t stand on its own

Widows Kiss 7,818
Joanne or ARTPOP although I think the letter was very iconic, so yeah. Joanne it is.
Daylight Jokers 14,958
Joanne. It's a great album but a lot of people outside the fanbase don't even know it exists.
HookerOnAChurch 6,799
I think every album in its own way has had its impact. Whether it's for pop culture and change, for the struggle of rights, for personal depth, for sound. Each album has left its mark in the industry and pop culture. Arcanum 5,196
The fact that Justin Timberlake, Kesha, Jonas and Miley Cyrus pulled a "Joanne act" on their next albums (from fashion choices to music & being personal and raw) doesn't show an impact? ARTPOP is iconic for all the wrong reasons IMO. So ARTPOP it is. I Wantth your Love...I Wantth your Love.
Sneaky Oliver 22,226
Unfortunately, I have to say ARTPOP even though I love it so much. It’s the least known by the general public, had no presence in award shows besides a few performances (Applause live VMAs and DWUW live AMAs)
Esteban 2,300
The truth is none.. but if I have to chose.. ARTPOP because EDM, return of rave, 90's aesthetic, tumblr, molly, art hoes... were already a thing since 2012 and have already been infused with pop music (please I need someone in order to correct my grammar and tense...) before gaga did it BUT after Gaga it was everywhere .. So impact though
KatieJudasGaga4 67,907
I picked ARTPOP. I don't think anything besides maybe Applause and the DWUW controversy was noticed. Joanne had the Superbowl and Million Reasons and people started noticing how Gaga started becoming "normal"
Regina George 59,387
Someone actually voted for The Fame and The Fame Monster aka the albums that objectively had the biggest impact on music industry? Some of peoples intentions to be edgy and hip never ceases to amaze me...
