I'm loving the eighties vibe. You transported me back to the early nineties when eighties culture was still prominent.

I love the song and the video. :diane: You're a star in the making. Don't forget about us when you get famous.

I’m definitely not crying, these aren’t tears :bradley:

Yessssssss, I loved the snippet, and I didn't expect the whole thing to be so professional, from the song to the video. :diane:

The production is fire AND the lyrics are great :bradley:

It's my turn next. I've been making music (piano and drums) since I was 5 and writing songs since I was 8, I had to learn English by myself and I'm 20 now so I'm really excited but I'm so f*cking scared to share my songs with everybody… Because music is like therapy, I put my whole soul in my songs, and if people don't like it much it's going to hurt me :selena: Were you cared before posting your songs? Especially this one, this it seems to be your first "big" piece of work.

It's so good, isn't it? It looks really professional.

I'd love to hear your music. You know I'm already your biggest fan.  I 100% agree with it being therapy. I write lyrics and come up with melodies but I don't know how to make the actual music. I'd like to dabble with that some time and I'm thinking of buying a piano. I'm scared to share it too and I literally only make it for me. I can totally understand why Gaga has personal songs that she doesn't want to share with the world.

Your English is perfect I never would have guessed it's not your first language.

I'm impressed, it's so nice! Really good and your voice sounds full yet with that ethereal quality

It does have an 80s sound, like other ppl have said, which I like!

Thank you !! I’ve been pretty insecure about my voice as it doesn’t really sound like anyone in the top 40s or any indie rock boys. Morrissey is the closest. So your words on my voice really mean a great deal to me. Everyone is commenting on the 80s influence. There’s no denying it’s there. I’m obsessed with everything 80s music. :rockstar:

You got some highs and lows on this one. I think that the instrumental production is on point, the vocal production in the chorus is on point. But the vocal production on the verses... They need some extra work.

Of course music production seems easy but it isn't, so I really appreciate what you've done so far. I think with a little more of practice you can get there but believe me you're almost there :tony:

Are you referring to how they are mixed, recorded, or written?

The lyrics are fine! I was talking more about how they were recorded and mixed with the music. In the chorus it sounds well because your vocal track has some effects and also the music kind of masks the flaws of the recording. But it's just an opinion, you're doing great

Really good! Did you play the guitar too? Wow you're so good! The song itself is so amazing! The vocal timing and mixing could be a tad better, but WOW this is a great song! Definetely the best song i've heard from a GagaDaily fan. So good!

Thank you for the kind words, I’m so glad that you’re enjoying it. I play guitar some. I am a cellist, that’s my first instrument and I am actively training on it. I had a good friend of mine (Justin Lewis!) record the guitar on the song, but I arranged a few of his parts. The mix is quite noisy, the vocals don’t sound as well balanced on my cell phone as they do on some of my headphones. I assisted the mixing process from a directional standpoint, but most of the technical stuff was handled by my engineer. The vocals were lightly time edited to perfect the timing. I sing half note triplets in the lines “do I leave or do I stay”  “if you stay here it just makes you worse” and “the new sun set our love on fire”. The rhythm purposefully clashes with the four on the floor groove.

You're right, it does sound like Morrissey! And I think it's a plus to sound different than the rest!

I love 80s music too :music:
