LG6 will be like sweetener

I watched the Oprah 2020 Vision Tour interview earlier today and I came to the conclusion that LG6 will be a serious album, inspired by Gaga's healing journey and efforts regarding mental health awareness. Why the sweetener comparison? Because, essentially, sweetener is presented as a healing album, "bringing light to a situation, [...] or sweetening [it]." The album was conceived while Ariana going through therapy to help her get over some really bad stuff (something Gaga is actively doing too), which ultimately influenced her music. And I feel like it will be the same for Gaga. Obviously, when I say "LG6 will be like sweetener", I'm definitely not talking about the production stuff, but the message behind the songs, more specifically  "breathin" and "get well soon". I feel like these two tracks sum up at least a glimpse of what Gaga's next album will be, and I really see lyrics like "I'm too much in my head, did you notice?/ My body's here on Earth, but I'm floating/ Disconnected, so sometimes, I feel frozen and alone", "Some days, things just take way too much of my energy/ I look up and the whole room's spinning", and "You gotta take care of your body/ Ain't no time to deny it, that is why we talking about it/ So deal with it, don't try and get by it" fitting into LG6, because they line up with what's Gaga been preaching about. What do you think?

I see where you're coming from and I'm here for a healing, empowering album honestly but in a different direction of BTW and Joanne.

Also, y'all :enigma:

I agree, I have a feeling the album will explore mental health, body positivity and  how kindness to others is kindness to yourself. It's all she talks about these days so it obviously means a huge amount to her. I hope she's in a space of healing where she can put that positivity into her music, rather than dwelling too much on the pain and anger like she did on Joanne and ARTPOP.

Y'all don't like the production of Sweetener? Tasteless f*gs :green:

Girl, Pharrell's production on that album was a capital M mess. He can get things right sometimes but sweetener had way more misses than hits.

I think it feels so nice and light and fresh. I don't necessarily like all of Pharrell's decisions, but he made the album have such a unique and modern sound. I loved it

To be fair I don't feel it was as terrible as I make it out to be and I did enjoy a few songs off of the album, especially breathin, GIAW and goodnight n go (which are kind of bad examples cause he didn't really produce them but the point is I didn't hate the album as a whole and listened to it more than once) and I understand where you're coming from and can totally respect that!
