But I think the 'two lead single' strategy is only further proof (messy or not) that Interscope believes in a strategy that's optimised for streaming. Releasing two singles on the same day is essentially securing x2 the revenue compared to dropping one. It's very data and money driven, which can sometimes translate to a really messy experience for fans. Hopefully they strike a good balance with LG6. I really think she's eager to keep it a mystery and doesn't want to reveal anything. I think the album has been, largely, finished (in terms of writing and concept - not production, finishing touches) for a good year or so. My guess is that she wants to create a moment, and the best way to do that today is to keep quiet and have a very 'all at once' kind of strategy - a few months where she hypes the album, releases music, talks about it and really goes all in.
