If he's had it for a long time without being properly diagnosed, it could account for some of his vocal deterioration. Untreated Lyme Disease destroyed most of Shania Twain's voice for example. Guest Posted January 9, 2020 Share Posted January 9, 2020 On one hand I'm not gonna brush this off as it being a PR move because it is a serious disease and I hope he gets proper treatment. On the other, I can understand why it comes off as a calculated story because this is kind of a boy who cried wolf situation. When you build your career on lies and deception, it's hard for people to believe you're being honest about something, especially at such an opportune time. But yeah, if he does have lyme disease I wish him well and proper medical attention, if he doesn't that's certainly one of the shittiest things he's done and is most certainly a shot on the foot.
