I think LG6 will do 30M first day :vegas: I’m imagining ~4M for two singles and the rest around 2M :hor: if there’s a collab it’ll have more streams, also playlisting, homepage, etc

this honestly isn’t out of the question considering how well she did on Spotify with ASIB. She’s got the followers, monthly listeners, and shallow (now over 1B)... tbh I don’t see the album doing any less than 20M first day, especially with proper playlisting/promotion. If the rollout is a mess and/or the music just isn’t good (plz god) then probably 10-20M

Do we think she's even attending? Performance feels out of the question.

I can never understand why does she always skip great promo spots and releases singles almost immediately after

I've got an "F" and a "C" and I got a "K" too And the only thing that is missing is a bitch like "U"

Selena also has three songs with over 900M streams. I wouldn't attribute her success to the 'Justin thing'.

three songs with 900M featuring way more successful artists on spotify right

because idk which one the third is but for Taki Taki and It Ain't Me it's true

Taki Taki was fueled by everyone involved - I'd say equally. It Ain't Me and We Don't Talk Anymore are collaborations, but It Ain't Me is also Kygo's biggest success on the platform. I don't think We Don't Talk Anymore would be huge if it was solo. Even if we factor those out she has one of the most streamed female albums on Spotify. Selena is the bigger name on Wolves as well - it fueled Marshmello's rise before he was prominent.

well you're not wrong but idk i feel like both artists can contribute but this doesnt they have to do it equally back then kygo was absolutely smashing spotify

https://www.rcarecords.com/news/kygo-fastest-artist-reach-1-billion-streams-spotify/

as for Taki Taki I feel like this type of music depends enormously on the song itself, just like J Balvin can release a song it absolutely flops and the next month his next one becomes the hit of the summer.

We don't talk anymore undoubtedly benefited from the "couple" jsut like shallow did

Kygo always had the huge streaming presence, but It Ain't Me is his biggest hit globally. It's the combination. It has ~200m more than Firestone, which is his second most streamed. I don't think we should discredit Ms. Gomez, is where this is coming from.

Does anyone know what albums had the biggest streaming debut weeks in Europe? And how much streams they got?

My delulu ass thinks LG6 can pull off an amazing streaming week in Europe when it drops. America...not so much. :messga:

Just a couple pages back I had a list of the biggest first week album debuts for every (significant) country WW on Spotify.

If she drops the lead next friday (the 24th) then she has a shot to debut at #1 in the US

But we all know she won't drop the lead this month
