but very interesting how the day Shallow had the lowest position in the whole almost year and a half since it was released, was its third one

Yeah, no matter how monsters want to twist it, the movie had its part in carrying the song too. Most of the times I've heard Shallow being reffered in public as "the song from that movie"

i've almost heard Shallow being called "the song from the movie" as many times as I've heard ASIB being called "Gaga's movie".

I think they helped each other: Shallow is a song that GP obviously loved, seeing how well it performed and how well it's holding on, and it needed a lot of exposure. The movie gave it this exposure it needed, and although it was the best way to get exposure it was not the only one.

If Gaga's performance in that movie would have sucked then we most likely would not have Shallow where it is today so yes the movie really did help but Gaga's delivery in the movie + in her songs was the thing that helped the most.
