Mixed feelings about Dua Lipa’s new song. I vibe to it but every time she sings “let’s get physical” my brain automatically thinks about ONJ’s hook and and then I feel like it just doesn’t hit as strong.

Does that even make sense?

It’s good but yeah, it had its flaws and weaknesses. My ranking of her three songs released from FN:

1. Don’t Start Now

2. Future Nostalgia

3. Physical

Doesn’t matter when it sold all those copies in its first few weeks. Gaga was never a radio darling anyway which helped in longevity of the chart. :lana:

She was during TF and TFM eras, then Judas happened :poot:

Expecting a huge debut for Dua in the US is delusional af.

I stan hard and hype the gurl but I can tell that maybe Physical can pursue the DSN road and slowly become a hit in the US (especially slow for radios) just like ALL other Dua Lipa's songs in the US ever. :triggered:

Whole world was expecting it. After that, the GP attached Gaga to the LGBT community and left her. Not saying it's a bad thing but after that Lady Gaga = gay.

She got them back tho.

The new Physical song by Dula is ok to me. Maybe it’ll grow on me later. I still prefer this “Physical”, aka the #1 hit of the 80s :sis:

TF yes but no she wasn’t starting from TFM itself. Pop radio maybe but she was never a huge radio hitmaker at all. Though we all know BTW got one of the highest debut in radio due to her hype at the time + radio deal (and I suspect a little payola).

If Physical becomes a hit in Canada I think she can pull a decent first week here :applause:

Let don't start now do it's thing in the next few weeks and then send physical to radios

She wasn't. Radio reluctantly played her because they had no choice but play the new IT girl.

Judas was the culprit. It’s a masterpiece though. :bradley:
