Yep, we have to keep in mind that she was struggled with substance and alcohol abuse and the interaction of mental illness and addiction is an incredibly dangerous vicious cycle so it is really smart of her and her doctors to keep her away from all that. I mean sure she gets money from this tour, but it's not like she needs it. She's really doing something good for the people. People gather to better themselves in this tour. It was first brought up on Stern and little more open about it during TIHTY, and came completely out about it during Elle award. But none of that compares to talking with Oprah like she did. When Oprah speaks, the zeitgeist sits up. This tour is major. So all these entertainment news shows that addressed Gagas assault quickly and uncomfortably in the past, are kinda given permission to speak on it more significantly now that it was a key part of an Oprah event. And I can't believe the reporter after all these years shamelessly admits he now finally sees her as on honest, vulnerable, open, relatable human being. She has ALWAYS been that way, people just didn't listen. It's a personal thing but being misunderstood or written off as weird is the worst. Judas Society 3,584 Posted January 7, 2020 Share Posted January 7, 2020 If you watch the entire interview with Oprah (available on Oprah's facebook page in a few days later), she mentioned that her pain is neuropathic pain which means it's not real physical pain. That's why for years, the doctors couldn't find anything wrong with her body even when she's in so much pain. So it's all in her mind. She also said in the end that she is not prescribing for anyone because she really recommend people to see their doctors to get the medicine that is suitable for each unique medical condition.
