He has also worked on various comics, and is also well known for the cover art of the Vampire Hunter D novels. This picture is a take on the model Lindsey Wixson, wearing a Gucci dress. There was a challenge for this issue, to show clothes without photographing them. The entire issue features art from artists of all kinds, from up and coming to icons. The money saved from creating this issue, and also the money made from selling this issue will go towards the restoration of Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice, a cultural center damaged by recent floods. Tetsuya Nomura took over as main character designer around seven I think. Since then, Yoshitaka has been mostly handling the logos I think. Before FF7 though, Yoshitaka was main character designer.
