She found a way to cope with it yet she sounds like shes in pain every time she sings. Her health includes vocal health and she clearly isn't taking care of it as she should be for somebody who makes 1.5 million dollars per show

But why make a link with how she's doing physically? She sounded fine during the ARTPOP era for example and that was supposedly when she was in the most pain.

I agree with your post though, she is struggling vocally :chica: But I just don't think that has anything to do with the subject matter on display during the Oprah talk.

She sounds great especially when she's at Brian's shows and beside this she still has great vocal moments at Enigma (check some of her vocals here for ex especially the last high one) sometimes she misses some notes and then comes back pulling great vocals, other times she moves too much on stage and doesn't focus on her vocals, anyway she'll be the first to notice if something is wrong, I remember that she had those kind of moments during Joanne too and cameback in full force.

I believe she will be the first to notice when she needs to take special care with her body, her voice and her mind. And i believe she is taking great care of herself.

Check out this performance at the last Jazz & Piano show (Dec. 31, 2019):

She is STRUGGLING. In all the years I have been a fan, I have never seen the quality of her voice get like this :(. It makes me think this is the reason why LG6 is taking so long... she is probably scrapping recordings because her voice is currently not at its full potential.

Also, do you guys think this has to do with age? I ask because when she was 24-25 years old doing the Monster Ball she would sing and travel a lot more frequently yet the quality of her voice never seemed to decline. But she’s currently only 33 which is still REALLY young and she’s not performing/traveling as often as she used to! You know what I mean? It’s strange to me...

That video sounds kinda what happened with her voice back in the fame era.

Jesus Christ i cringed so badly 😭

I have a full lengthvideo of Bad Romance at the piano during the J&P show I attended. I was in row 4 on the floor. There are moments in the video (several) where the sound "falls out" and she sounds weak and low volume. It is the VIDEO, not how she actually sounded in person. The phone is picking up sound from a TINY microphone that is not tuned specifically to pick up sound from just one source. If someone holding the phone moves, the microphone will appear to mute the ambient sound in favor of sounds happening closer by, which is why when someone coughs or shuffles around near you, THAT is what you will hear rather than the loud ass singing. Any tiny sound can trigger this, which is why cell phone video is NOT a good gauge of singing in a theater like this.

Cherry picking video moments and getting over-dramatic about her vocal health is unnecessary.   Sure, on occassion she will have some off moments, as does any singer who is actually singing live.   However look at other videos from late in the year J&P and she sounds fine.    She is a human being that doesn't lipsync.   Give her some leeway to be human instead of expecting perfection every single time.

This, totally.    Gaga lifts people up when they are down and she deserves that love in return.

True.  But aside from any possible vocal problems, the Oprah interview shows she is enduring problems in her life.  So the suggestion by @RAMROD is the very human thing we can do.
