I am hoping that the long wait is a signal that we're going to get the first fully mature vision of Gaga's pop/dance artistry. Unlike albums made when she was just beginning and had less know-how and power --- and unlike ARTPOP's anxious, uncertain desire to be everything to everyone --- LG6 will show us what Gaga's pop sounds like when she is in full control, with no post-BTW type pressure bearing down on her, and with an adult's taste level and production expertise.
