That's kinda contradicting if the album is called ARTPOP and there's rap on it.

ARTPOP - POT = RAP

Sorry, the album will be he rapping about pot... and you will deal... :nails:

As much as ARTPOP isn't exclusively related to pop music, many of us still don't want to hear much rap :wtf:.

Then listen to Katy Perry :laughga:

The thread gave the impression of a new track whilst the article said it was Cake.. Are people not allowed to be dissapointed in any form even slightly now :wtf:

Of course you're allowed to be disappointed. Just try not to be so b---hy about it. I'm not referring to you personally, but everyone as a whole. It's just so ****ing negative anymore. I know it's always been kinda bratty, but as of late I'm seeing so much more of it than usual. It's like Gaga can't do anything right anymore and frankly, I'm disgusted.

This is called a FORUM, and people in forums have, what are called in 2012, OPINIONS. Either deal with it, or leave the site. Thanks. I'm all for GaGa trying new things but rap clearly isn't the path for her, regardless of anything she is "trying to do." The Cake song sounds absolutely terrible and will get destroyed by places such as Rolling Stone. If she didn't release such a controversial (and yes it was amazing and maybe her best album) and radical album prior to this, she would have some leeway to try out some new things. But in my opinion, this album is her moment to shine and show her true talent that was observed during the Fame Monster era. Start being a little realistic, and also a little mindful of people's opinions. It's not negativity, its honesty.

That's it, ARTPOP will be a rap album, f*ck my life (Rap it's good it's just that I don't like it and I'll have to wait a whole era for new music if it turns out to be a rap album :P)

I hate that Cake is getting popular... It's not meant to be taken seriously. It should just stay within her fan base, but now more people are hearing about it and I bet people think its a single, which I hate thinking about... lol

I'm Chloe. Except the C and the L are silent.

So was it Cake or not ???

GUYS IT WAS CAKE:

Cake' by Lady Gaga featured in fashion show video tomorrow

PARIS -- Nicola Formichetti, Lady Gaga’s stylist extraordinaire and creative director of the house of Thierry Mugler (now known simply as Mugler) showed his spring-summer 2013 collection at Paris architecture museum Cite de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine on Wednesday night. Though Gaga was not in the house (she is on tour, and was performing in Zurich), she did send along a gift  a new, unreleased single for the soundtrack. Titled “Cake,†the track is Gaga’s first rap song. A video of the collection featuring the new Gaga song will be released Thursday. The show closed with the hit “Esta Noche†courtesy of Azealea Banks, who was sitting front row.
