American's don't want to kill Iranians … Iranians don't want to be in a war with the US …. ' Politicians are doing this … and the Islamic republic is / has been at war with western ideology in the region for years and years..... As time passes the likelihood of WWIII will continue to dwindle, as the world’s super powers are very unlikely to ever go to war with each other, as they care too much about their economies. USA will always try to control the Middle East. China is slowly trying to gain control of Africa and will continue to do so: Russia isn’t that much of a superpower anymore, and the Countries of Europe try to stay as diplomatic as possible. This will however result in years of middle eastern upheaval unfortunately. Priorities are just not there for WWIII. Doesn’t mean smaller wars won’t happen though.
