I for sure would have been the GBF in Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie's entourage along with Britney and Lindsay Lohan.

And omg the aesthetic too

2016 pre-Trump maybe or some future date where we have light speed travel like in Star Trek. I like having all the technological and scientific and social advances of more recent years.  People living longer, more disease cures found, more liberal social standards, a bigger better internet with all it's connectivity.

If you don't like the world you live in, do your part to make it better for everyone.

I don't know about you guys, but I feel like every era or period of time, there are people whom are oppressed and especially there were more people who were oppressed by the rich whether you're white or not. People seem to die much earlier due to diseases or famine and war.  Sure, the rich had their own problems with politics and business etc., but it sure beats living in squallid conditions and die of disease or famine, or having to enlist into the army just to provide enough for your family.

People saying ancient greek like it's the best time to be gay. But like others have pointed out, probably only the men in power have the advantage in terms of sleeping with other men and they have to be a top. Bottoms are probably young and innocent, but also doesn't have much standing in society at that time.

Those who wants to be in ancient China, most people those days live in rural areas became farmers or live in small towns as traders. Not much to do there and definitely not as open about sexuality as you think. You'll be drowned if you were caught having pre-marital sex or extra-marital sex apparently, so not much sexual freedom I daresay. If you visit the prostitute house, you're considered one of those deviants or immorals.

Roaring 20s? Gangsterism were rampant in the big cities and you're lucky you're not caught in between gang fights which included guns? I don't know. I can't comment much since all we know about those eras are from documentaries or hollywood movies. It's probably a lot more normal or mundane in reality.

I wouldn’t necessarily want to live in the society, but I would love to observe Ancient Greece or Rome. If I had my choice I would pick a point some centuries in the future
