We bash him because the only reason he’s doing this is to make sure his new songs sell lol. This isn’t some altruistic move. It’s a marketing ploy. Doesn’t mean his personal intentions are gross, granted, but we can only go on what we see and what we see is desperation :chica:

can't you say the same about Five Foot Two then?

This is definitely good marketing before his album comes out. Probably his manager's idea since his image isn't the best right now. This is going to be hours of him talking about his mental health issues and walking like a penguin because his pants are falling. This really is just a marketing docu and not a "raw" one but they'll definitely make it sound and look like it's very personal and real. Not saying that he faked his mental issues but he definitely did that docu for his image and it's a turn off. It would feel more real if he did that docu while having zero album to promote but it's the music business after all.

I used to be obsessed with him in the beginning of his career but I was a kid with a childish crush. Now being grown up, I just find him so depressing. Something about him and even in that short trailer feels so forced, it's like he's constantly fake laughing, fake enjoying things, there's this darkness and depression in him and I feel it and hate seeing it. I don't know how he's going to end up in life but it's sad that he got married so fast cause he felt alone and in need of stability (his words not mine in Vogue interview). I'm not sure that was the right thing to do either or that it'll fix his demons. But good luck to him, I guess being conservative christian will make him feel like he has a purpose in life

No because that wasn’t tied to a specific product.

Unpopular opinion, but yes. I think a lot of that documentary, much like this Justin one, was purely PR.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

5F2 is honest, it lets you see gaga in her worst moments without a filter. she’s not sitting in front of a camera asking for compassion. Don’t see how these two docs relate :rip:
