There might be a thread about this already but I went through the last 5 pages and didn't see it.

We need talk more about this show  It's truly one of the greatest series I have watched in a very long time. Season 1 just wrapped and I'm pretty sure I stopped breathing during the last 15 minutes of the final episode  The acting is phenomenal, the plot keeps you on the edge of your seat and everything is so well executed. It's also very heartbreaking.

This may very well be Jennifer Aniston's best career performance and I hope she snatches all the awards  The scene where she cusses out her daughter was *chefs kiss*

I loved this first season. I have no idea how they‘ll connect it to a second season but i‘m sure it was already planned before the first season was even filmed so i‘m excited af. 
i wasn‘t too sold at first ngl but the story is really well done. And as you said the finale was amazing

I've stopped watching it because things were getting too slow imo. But if y'all live for it and its finale has a lot of praise then I gotta catch up.

I do agree it was a tad slow at times, but things have really picked up in the final episodes! You should really finish it!

Felt the same way at first (mostly continued because of Aniston's performance) but believe me, the last three episodes are worth it (especially the finale).

OT: I will probably give my opinion on the season later when I am on computer ... because I will discuss spoilers!

Not my favorite show of the year but I definitely enjoyed it! So...

The good (what I liked)

I liked most of the supporting cast (especially thoughout the end) but this is Jennifer's show, it's probably the best I've seen of her really and she supported the whole weight of it on her shoulders for the most part. She's trully convincing in the role of the woman who is just s*ck of it! She's decided to take control of her destiny and I was here for it.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Hannah) was freaking phenomenal omg... that monologue... I am going to talk about her ending later tho

What I didn't like

-Steve Carell: I like him a lot but sincerely not sold on his performance at all and the writing did not help (that first scene of his was one of the cringiest things I've ever watched)

Love Reese but the development of her character felt so rushed! I understand being put in her situation so suddenly can change a person but not that quickly! It felt like two different people. I mean she went from being this preachy, loud and reckless person during the first episode; to this calm, vulnerable but tough, more mature woman ... in a matter of two weeks. Also they are saying in the show that she's well liked because she has remained the same but us viewers can clearly see that she has changed.

There's also Alex seeing her as a menace but all of a sudden she trusts her... that quickly!?

Was amazed by Hannah's development but that ending ... really?

I understand they made that choice to "wake Alex up" but that could have been done another way. They could have just said that she overdosed and was in a critical condition, that could have been a signal to Alex! Then second season could have been about her recovery and fighting back along with the other women and decent people. That could have actually sent a message to real survivors that they can actually make it out alive.

I sum, I truly enjoyed it and cannot wait for the second season (which can be even better). Olivia Colman (still think she's the frontrunner for the EMMY) better watch out for Jennifer because that last episode

I know I’m a bit late, but.. I watched the first episode when it was out and I wasn’t interested, it seemed odd to me. But two weeks ago I decided to watch it during my flight and WOW. Just Wow!! I continued to watch it and it’s one of my favorite series now. Impressive performance by all the actors! Jennifer, I loved her and she absolutely deserved that SAG award  Can’t wait for the Season 2, have no idea what they have for us. Everybody who didn’t watch it or stopped watching - go do it!
