I have always been a fan of the Witcher 3-game and played it two times. But I wanted to make this topic cause I really liked the new series. To be honest, I really was waiting for abit more from the first season but I can understand that it's just a opening to the characters and to the whole universe. Like Ciri and Gerald do not meet until the last frame of the last episode. The best part of season one was Yennefers backstory. I do not want to open the series too much if people have not seen the show yet but I would love to talk about it! I actually cried cause they open topics about suicide, legacy, infertility. How she was treated by her mentor from the beginning and her attitude against the world and feeling of frustrations. It really opened my eyes. I have modded the game to gods and it's running on 4k resolution with all extra textures. It's eyecandy. Tho it took me almost two weeks to complete! + all the DLC's are MUST PLAY. I think it's a clever way to tell multiple stories. In the first season the events that happened in books also happened but only thing they changed was how it happened. for example how Ciri escaped from the Castle to the Brokilon forest. Love the atmosphere, loved the Yennefer storyline, loved almost everything. Too short for me. The fact that the 2 seasons will not be out until 2021 angers me. Honestly even if the show was crap, which it isn't, I'd watch it just for Henry as Geralt. Yennefer was such a queen, as was Calanthe. Can't wait for season 2.
