Listen, I actually kind of like Klobuchar. I think for a moderate Democrat she's fine (I would actually choose her over Biden), but she's simply not getting the nomination. 

And neither was Bernie in 2016, but a lot of y'all still supported him...and enough of you wouldn't vote for the eventual nominee that Trump was actually handed the Presidency by the Sanders voters. Of course, I will vote for the eventual nominee (Biden), but in the meantime, I'm supporting the candidate that I think could best bring it to Trump in November 2020, and would make the best President. :-)

I don’t know what data you’re looking at but according to RCP, Klobuchar is polling at 6% in Iowa. The only people who have double digits in Iowa is Bernie, Warren, Buttigieg and Biden. Meanwhile she’s polling at 1-3% in the other primary states. At this rate she won’t be able to secure delegates in any of them since she has to have at least 15% of the vote in order to do so.

I love Amy, she is right after Bernie in my heart. But I don't think she can catch up. Bernie has my vote as long as he continues to run.

I mean, support whoever you want. That's the great thing about this country and the primaries. I'm not saying that you shouldn't support Klobuchar. What I'm saying is that she's not going to be the nominee, so practically speaking supporting her is just not going to do anything.

The difference between her and Sanders (in terms of their support) is that Sanders not only has name recognition, but his policies and the way he communicates his message speak to people. It speaks to people enough for him to consistently be either #1 or #2 in the polls. Amy may have a loyal support base, but it's not nearly to the degree that Sanders has, and it never will be in this race. 

EDIT - As for Bernie supporters not voting for Hillary, let's remember that Hillary won the popular vote by 3 million  votes. That's a large margin. It's not that people didn't vote for her; people did vote for her. The problem is the electoral college system.

Correct. And it's a tired take to see embarrassed Hillary supporters trying to blame Bernie who campaigned for her (unlike Hillary herself in 2008) for her failures to tackle swing states and districts.
