willmcclure72 34
Ke$ha - Cannibal EP 1. Cannibal Decent song with interesting production during the verse (for Kesha) The lyrics are good (minus one line, i think you know which one I’m talking about) The chorus gets abiT irritating but still decent. 6/10 2. We R Who We R Brings back memories of when i was 12 Its a cute bop and the chorus gives me life but it isn’t anything unique when it comes to pop songs. Still a bop tho. 7/10 3. Sleazy More like Godzy. Sleazy is easily my fave from this EP, i love keshas attempt at rap/singing and i think she pulled it off. The production is also good and matches the 'Hiphop' style the song was going for. 9/10 4. Blow Blow is yet again, a decent track. It made a good single and the chorus is catchy. I also really love the bridge and i love keshas talking parts. Makes the song stand out abiT 6.5/10 5. The Harold Song Also another amazing track from this EP. I’m not usually a fan of Kesha's ballads, but this track is in my top 5 of her discography. The lyrics are beautiful and the chorus is amazing. Keshas vocals during the chorus really show the emotion behind her words and i really connect with the song. 9/10 6. Grow A Pear The EP takes a dip in quality at track 6&7. I mean the lyrics are just messy and i feel messy even singing it in my head. Although the production is cute (the devil's TIHWD teas), the video game sounds bring the song a bit of life. 4/10 7. Crazy Beautiful Life This track isn’t terrible but it just isn’t a standout and its the second least played from the EP in my iTunes. It falls a bit short in length and there isn’t much depth in the song. In my opinion it feels a bit flat and the chorus isn’t very catchy. 5/10 8. C U Next Tuesday At first i didn’t like this track but it eventually grew on me and now i love it. Kesha sounds so sincere in the song and the chorus is catchy as hell. Part of the trinity 9/10 Trinity: C U Next Tuesday, Sleazy & The Harold Song Flops: Crazy Beautiful Life & Grow a Pear

One Five Ten 70
Ben Howard - I Forget Where We Were Visceral, romantic, emotional and erratic, this album is the best of the year. But I have been highly anticipating it as is obvious from my avi. It leaked today and Ben's transition from acoustic in his debut to electric here is inspired. Lots expected him to go down the Ed Sheeran path to success, but here it's obvious that Ben's primary concerns are his song structures and delicate choruses, regardless of commercial intent. Check out the title track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ki5HBBEtfak Highly recommended!
