What's the use of knowing someone's email when you can message through messenger,whatsapp etc.

So you exchange documents via text as well? Girl it happens. Like sometimes you need to forward documents, or reservations etc to your friends.

Yes.  I never use my email besides for Order Receipts or email verification.

You can send documents through Messenger in the same you way you would send a picture. Much easier to copy paste a  pdf  or word document and send it to the group chat that way instead of making an email.
