this is so stupid. Of course you know what racism is at that age. Im not going to lie and tell you I didn't use the N word when I was like 15 (with an A not a hard R btw). I just grew up around people who would casually use it. We didn't mean it in a racist way or have ill intent behind it. I didn't feel any hatred towards Black and African Americans.

Hell as teenager, cultural appropriation wasn't that big a deal and we had some costumes  for halloween that now would be deemed offensive (and no it wasn't anything incredibly extreme).

However, At 26, I would NEVER use that kind of language. It's not my word to reclaim or use and I now know the negative connotations that word has. Same with cultural appropriation. I think about every single action I do because everything can have a negative or positive outcome to it. 

Yes, you know at 15 what racism is, but I doubt you know the full extent and repercussion of things. Cancel Culture (though has always existed) is now a new thing that affects people.

Lastly, the time period you grow up in plays a huge part so I give Camila the benefit of the doubt. 2011-12, tho not long ago, was also very different but progress was still being made.  

In reality, by the logic of cancel culture, all of us have said offensive **** and by default we'd all be cancelled. Im here for people who admit they did wrong and then proceed to do something and educate themselves to change for the better.

Latino is an ethnicity/culture- not a race. There are white Latinos, black Latinos, native Latinos, etc.. but she is not a white latino-most likely a mixture as are most people from Latino countries. -  so she is a POC.

So you choose to label racist for a question I had. This is exactly what I mean, im being open about my ignorance on race regarding this issue because of the environment im in and what peoole around me tell me. Forget all that, lets go straight to the racist label right. Have a good life.
