So 2019 is coming to a close and I wanted to do this last year and the year before but never got around to it.

Personally (As of right now at least) for an album to make this list it has to be enjoyable almost entirely all the through, expectations are met/exceeded), and I still listen to it up until this point

These are my favorite albums of 2019:

1. Death Race for Love by Juice WRLD

7b4c1752ee0b9e8c17d6c36d558560d4.1000x10

- This was my only favorite album of the year up until Fall.

- There's something so enjoyable about this body of work from the bops to the emotional songs. It's still my #1 favorite, RIP Juice :(

- Top 10: Empty, Fast, Robbery, Flaws And Sins, Feeling, Syphilis, Ring Ring, Out My Way, The Bees Knees, 10 Feet

- Other Favorites: Maze, Demonz, Hear Me Calling, Big, Who Shot Cupid?, ON GOD, Won't Let Go, Rider, Make Believe

2. A Love Letter to You 4 by Trippie Redd

621215e6dcc2a0bde3a0873791d2e41b.1000x1000x1.jpg

- This album is enjoyable all the way through and shows more versatility compared to the previous A Love Letter to You project

- I don't know what it is but this year and last year Trippie's Love Letter mixtapes are much better than his albums

- Top 10: Who Needs Love, Love Me More, 6 Kiss, Hate Me, Sickening, The Grinch, Death, RMP, Bust Down Deux, The Jungle Book,

- Other Favorites: Real Feel, All for Me, M's, Chosen, Can You Rap Like Me Pt. 2

3. Songs For You by Tinashe

457a2ffe6b8856e05d6c99552e181343.1000x10

- I was very excited for this project considering Tinashe is independent and knowing that some songs from the scrapped Nashe project would be on here made it even more exciting

- She really shows her vulnerability, lyrics, melodies, cockiness so well on this project

- Top 10: Feelings, Life's Too Short, Hopscotch, Stormy Weather, Story of Us, Cash Race, Link Up, Touch & Go, Know Better, So Much Better

- Other Favorites: Perfect Crime

4. Tarantula by Danny Towers

ELFDIG8XYAE8-zt.jpg

- I've been excited for this project ever since I heard Today & Dope & a Baby

- All the snippets he teased for months and months all made it and they all delivered, I love when an album is like this

- Top 10: Derby, Dope & a Baby, Sunday, Who He, Toothpick, Sucka, No Rewind, Paraplegic, Booby Trap, Undone

- Other Favorites: Tarantula, Blitz, Monkey Nuts

Other albums this year that I enjoyed but weren't completely favorites for their own reasons:

- thank u, next by Ariana Grande

- WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO by Billie Eilish

- Lover by Taylor Swift

- Charli by Charli XCX

- Bad Vibes Forever by XXXTENTACION ('s team)

I enjoy this album from the beginning to end. When Madame X was released, I didn't like some songs: Come Alive, Future and Bish I'm Loca — but now they are pretty catchy for me. So I think that this is my Album of the Year, yes.

No NFR and Magdalene? :green:

NFR was another disappointing album with only a few good songs, I don't see the appeal in it at all

I only listened to Magdalene twice it has a few good songs but that's it

me too watermelon GIF

I loved it at first but then I realized that there're only few songs I can listen to: MAP, Doin' Time and some more. Overall this album is kinda 'meh' for me now.
