Now why would you make this thread knowing you were gonna get her dragged to the pits of hell? :air:

The real tea is that her team let her do basically whatever she wanted on this project because Havana was a monster of a smash. She still needs guidance. Señorita smashing as hard as it did probably made it worse. They put too much confidence in her artistic direction. There’s nothing wrong with needing guidance. Not everyone is a Gaga. Rihannas and Britney’s exist too.

This doesn't make sense though, her team screwing her up is like them screwing themselves up.  Scott made sure Taylor had one of the best careers of all time, and he did succeed because a win for Taylor was a win for him at that time. It's only when these power hungry greedy men, have no use for do they try to sabotage you. Camila's manager won't give a flying **** about his supposed friendship with Scooter when it comes to his JOB aka his source of income (which is managing Camila).

Her first era had a #1 single, a top #10 second single and a #1 album. Havana was a bop, Never Be The Same was really cute and well written, her debut album was also good overall. Her second album is just not on the same level my opinion. There's literally little to no single worthy songs. They never bothered to push and focus on  a proper single, I think Camila could have spoken up and planned singles for this album.

I would have started with My Oh My (which is now being pushed as single 4 I think lol), it will remind the gp of Havana and given her cute top 10 alongside the anticipation for new music from her.

I think they then should have released a song called Should've Said It which also has potential.

Then in Spring release Living Proof as the final single, since the song and video are very much spring appropriate and not winter appropriate.

Sadly, I think it's too late to turn this into a hit era, all they could do now is focus on making My Oh My a top 20 hit, or even top 10 if they're lucky.

Lmao. The Rihanna’s need some verbal guidance here and there which is smart, but she isn’t the Britney type that needs her hand held and led on by her team. Nothing wrong with either or! 🖤

I used Rihanna and Britney as examples because they both had a lot of help and guidance in the early parts of their career. It’s true that Rihanna was eventually able to stand on her own two feet while Britney wasn’t, but it’s the early part of their careers that I was talking about.

The tea is that she's the most payloa'd artist nowadays, but the GP is simply saying NO

You're right. She doesn't really have something special to attract GP.

Did you think I'd show up in a limousine? No
