There isn't a good portion of people who support Bernie that are "radical." The media has called anything beyond the status quo radical and it is dangerous for people to accept the framing of that because relative to the world, the policies that are being considered radical are considered centrism everywhere else. There is a huge subset of the twitterverse that continuously talk about Bernie dying every day in a very vicious manner but nobody is going to the candidates these people support and calling them radical. It's not an apples to apples comparison. Bottom line is that there are crazy people who support politicians of all ideological spectrums that have equally as hateful and violent comments as the person this thread is originally about. I personally think radical has too much of a negative connotation. It simply means "relating to or affecting the fundamental nature of something; far-reaching or thorough." In 1920, it was perceived as "radical" for women to have the right to vote. Though, I also agree with you that it is dangerous due to the connotation. It's not radical as in it's a systemic shift in the fundamental nature of our institutions. Rather, it's used as a way to say that the ideas and policies are beyond the realm of what the general public believe in or support even when the data we have available says it is not. I still don't think it's clear what you're referring to. Maybe if you specifically pointed out what you're referring to, I would be able to give a response that you think is appropriate to the topic at hand here. Either way, Biden has a long history of gaffes and inappropriate touching of women. Regardless of whether or not Biden is just a personal emphatic guy who has habits that were acceptable by society years and years ago, we no longer live in a cultural climate where his behavior is considered appropriate. I'm asking this nicely but I really hope you will quit using the term Bernie Bro. The reason that nickname exists was to call the people who support Bernie as misogynistic and racist. In this election cycle, there is data that shows Bernie is almost 50/50 with support from men and women and in the most recent poll had him 1st among people of color nationally. It's a really ugly thing and is erasing the support of the multiracial working class Bernie has built. As for me telling you that you seek out fights, yes I think that comment stands. There's a difference between a civilized debate and going into threads with the level of insults that you regularly throw out with people with different opinions than you. I would stop using the Bernie bros since I didnt know where the term originated from. You are wrong about it. You only see it from your point of view. I am usually the one attacked first. Since u made this statement that I insult people that have different opinions than me, can you tell me when I insulted you?

Yea. No one should be immune to criticism, but again : if you are louder than the republicans when u speak against Obama, Pete, Hillary, Biden, for me you are missing the point. I'm never going to tell you I'm always right. I'm also not going to say I've looked at every thread and searched for the origins of when the in-fighting began because that wouldn't be true. So If what I've seen is an exception rather than the rule then I'm sorry if I'm mistaken. 3. I don't remember you insulting me specifically though I do know we have a fundamental disagreement on why Clinton lost in 2016 & that conversation was pretty contentious on both sides. You are missing the point when that's the case. Yet when people post anti-Bernie threads, you’re either nowhere to be seen or you’re actively goading Bernie supporters into responding to said threads. The hypocrisy is real. Just to be clear I don’t mind when people criticize candidates including Bernie. What I do mind however is that when centrist democrats are criticized, people like yourself scream about needing “party unity!!11!1!” but when a progressive gets criticized, all of a sudden democracy is acceptable Centrists like to hide behind virtue signaling bull when it’s convenient

Again. You can criticize anyone from my point of view. In the Biden threat that I quoted, I've said that his wording is very bad. I dont think that anyone is perfect in politics. But I think my point remains valid : if you are louder than the republicans, it is a problem and you are missing the point: at the end of the day, any democrat should be better for the policies you support than Trump, no? For someone who likes to claim Bernie has zero power within the democratic party, you sure like to blame him for everything. What about the Kamala supporters (when she was still in the race) who were saying that he should go ahead and die so we wouldn't have to deal with him? Do we get to say that it's pathetic that Kamala has produced hateful people too? Of course not.
