You're constantly in threads seeking out fights with people you know support someone you do not like. Most of the time your arguments are loosely based on facts and are always either incoherent or always going on the attack. Unless you're referring to something else, what @ItsTommyBitch is referring to is an incoherent moment that is all over the internet of Biden saying ridiculous things that make people feel uncomfortable with his ability to lead this country. Also, you can't paint every Bernie supporter with the same brush. Just because this person from the OP is a crazed lunatic who incites violence does not mean anything with regard to Bernie, his platform or the vast majority of people who support him. What generalisations? In what world do you live? Look at this topic. Any Bernie bro here who said that he she doesnt agree with what this dude said, first wrote on how bad Obama was. Actually some people wrote more about how bad Obama was than calling out this guy. And u are supposed to be the decent Bernie bros?

Obviously the first step is to provide mental health as part of a medicare for all single payer system and removing the stigma of seeking mental health solutions. The next is to take a look at the people who are radicalized and analyzing why they feel so strongly in the first place. I think when we do that what we find is that it is all down to economic anxiety and Maslow's hierarchy of needs. If we begin to ensure that all of our people (to the extent we can) have basic needs (healthcare, education, housing, & living wage) and couple that with drug decriminalization as well as immigration reform that is human without compromising the border, a lot of the people wouldn't have a reason to be radicalized in a way that makes people do these things. Same goes with mass shootings and other crimes. We have to move to a society that does not ignore the economic anxiety of our people because when someone has nothing left to lose their behavior grows increasingly more violent and unpredictable. See this is why I appreciate you

I'm very thankful for the people on GGD that have discussions like these with me, even the ones I vehemently disagree with. We all have to engage with each other because our problems aren't going away and won't fix themselves. But we all must remember (myself included) that we can't lose sight of that fact. I am "seeking out fights"? Dont u think u are a little biased when u say such a thing? I gave the thread that I was talking about. So why make assumptions when I gave exactly the thread where those "semi"accusations were made against Biden. And u say that my arguments are "loosely based on facts"? Why dont u respond to exactly what I was talking about and go for the Bernie bros in that thread that pointed out Biden not for his innability to lead the country, but for the possibility that he is a monster with zero evidence? In my original comment I did point out that It wasn't clear what you were referring to. I still don't think it's clear what you're referring to. Maybe if you specifically pointed out what you're referring to, I would be able to give a response that you think is appropriate to the topic at hand here. Either way, Biden has a long history of gaffes and inappropriate touching of women. Regardless of whether or not Biden is just a personal emphatic guy who has habits that were acceptable by society years and years ago, we no longer live in a cultural climate where his behavior is considered appropriate. I'm asking this nicely but I really hope you will quit using the term Bernie Bro. The reason that nickname exists was to call the people who support Bernie as misogynistic and racist. In this election cycle, there is data that shows Bernie is almost 50/50 with support from men and women and in the most recent poll had him 1st among people of color nationally. It's a really ugly thing and is erasing the support of the multiracial working class Bernie has built. As for me telling you that you seek out fights, yes I think that comment stands. There's a difference between a civilized debate and going into threads with the level of insults that you regularly throw out with people with different opinions than you. Because they are progressives who want to see real progressive change. We are a generation who have been promised change and screwed over by empty promises time and time again. The neocons and neoliberals have sent us to fight in unnecessary wars costing us trillions of dollars and continue to sell us to the mercy of special interests, think tanks, and lobbyists. We are tired of it. I think if we can spend trillions on pointless wars, bail out wall street criminals, and have welfare for trillionaire companies, then surely we can get our citizens quality health care and higher state-run education like all of the other developed Western nations -- but we don't. We pay more than all of them for low quality results, which has been devastating and even deadly for not just the working class, but middle class people as well. It is these injustices, as well as a lengthy list of others, that ignites such passionate frustration for progressives in this country. I understand you are so privileged that you can turn a blind eye and stay comfortable with business as usual, but you have to understand that millions do not own such a privilege. While I agree with you on the content of this comment, I think you're giving the argument too much credit. There isn't a good portion of people who support Bernie that are "radical." The media has called anything beyond the status quo radical and it is dangerous for people to accept the framing of that because relative to the world, the policies that are being considered radical are considered centrism everywhere else. There is a huge subset of the twitterverse that continuously talk about Bernie dying every day in a very vicious manner but nobody is going to the candidates these people support and calling them radical. It's not an apples to apples comparison. Bottom line is that there are crazy people who support politicians of all ideological spectrums that have equally as hateful and violent comments as the person this thread is originally about.
