UK wide summary: The Conservative party have won the election with an outstanding majority. Predictions are that the Tories will have a majority of around 80 (around 380 MPs). The Labour party have been completely hammered with them only picking up around 205 MPs, and losing around 70 seats. Jeremy Corbyn has said he will step down after this defeat. The leader of the Liberal Democrats has lost her seat, so expect her to step down too. She lost to the SNP's candidate, Amy Callaghan. What this means is that the UK is completely fvcked. Boris Johnson now has full control and can pass through any destructive policy he wants including a no deal Brexit. He is just like Trump. More people will be in poverty due to his policies, the NHS will be sold to Trump, and there won't be a decent quality of life for the working class person. In terms of Scotland; I am so proud of my country. We have gone the complete opposite direction. We have elected 48 SNP MPs in this election. We rejected the Tory mentality of what the country should be like. We never voted for Brexit in the first place, and we have rejected anything to do with Brexit. We have a clear mandate for a second independence referendum, and when that time comes I sincerely HOPE that we vote to leave the UK union because Boris Johnson is going to sink the whole union. What this election proves is how different Scotland is to the rest of the UK. The UK is divided, but at the same time it is united in its own parts. England and Wales have voted Tory; Scotland has voted SNP. We want to reject Brexit and be progressive; they want to close the country off and sell off our NHS. It begs the question about not just Scottish independence, but the UK as a whole. It is the right thing that Scotland chooses is own future away from this mess... but how long will the other parts of the UK remain together? In Northen Ireland, more Sinn Fein MPs have been elected and a growing number or people want a United Ireland. I said this when the exit poll hit, but I want to make my final thoughts on this. I am so fvcking sorry for my English and Welsh brothers and sisters. Boris is going to make life a misery for you all. At least I have the option of an independent Scotland that I hope will be soon. You are all welcome in my country, and I mean this, if you a struggling with life because of austerity PLEASE come up here and make a better life when Scotland gets its independence. But if you can make it out of Britain, I would advise you to do so. You all deserve better than this, and my heart is heavy for you all. Thank you for allowing me to report on this. I do feel like politics and whats going on is very important because our futures depend on it. but there is no future in the UK anymore. Sending love to you all. And from me, its good night!
