Dominic 11,922
Who cares, it's an ass. It's hardly a big deal. Kids see worse at the beach or at swimming. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

Can yall stop being so annoying to try to call out double standards when you dont even know people's opinions on both cases? Bikinis belong on the beach (and that goes for men walking around shirtless too, before you try to bring that one up). Okay but why does it matter how people dress? Sis was at a public basketball game with kids and families. Sis was twerking it on camera with her ass all the way out on the sidelines while the cheerleaders were dancing.... if that’s the type of stuff y’all think is body positivity then y’all need to find yourselves. It’s not nor will it ever be ok with me to dress that way in public at a family oriented event. I said what I said. It’s not about her being black or being plus sized. It’s about knowing when wrong is wrong. I literally did not say it was only that member. Ive seen fatphobic comments everywhere. You are allowed to disagree with what she did as long as you apply that logic and thinking to skinny people. and noone is slapping a label on anything. People here and on twitter are literally fatphobic so please dont try to erase it because you dont agree with her body. thats it.

Spartacus 4,485
I had to come back to this. It's actually really sad. Lizzo is very talented. She's a powerhouse vocalist and classically trained instrumentalist and should be topping the charts for showcasing her true talent, not buy pandering to today's trends. This ratchet ass-out dress reminds me of her tweet about wearing Valentino, and how she spelled it "Valenti-Ho"... I don't feel that's the kinda artist she wanted to be coming up. I bet she wanted to be a sophisticated diva, but in order to get noticed, to get a hit, she had to pander to today's youth... and they love this kinda thing... unfortunately. Hopefully she'll stop all of this silliness and just let her talent speak for itself... whether it leads to her flopping or not... -𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐌𝐀™

It's important to point out the differences in standards and Gaga is being brought up as a prime example because she has donevery similar stuff and because this is literally a Gaga fansite. President Biden 5,898
Anyone would get backlash. Gaga has in the past. The problem isn’t discrimination against black or plus sized women. The problem is the disgustingly conservative nature and how everything involving the human body is “sexual“ and “taboo” in American society. Because there are places and times for everything, in this case, Its unnecessary, its extremely attention grabbing (just like with Gaga), its not to set a fashion trend or to send a message, the only reason she wore that is to say she did it and that she twerked on the big screen. Oh and by the way, many people here have criticized Gaga when she did stuff like this or when she showed her vagina in a bar. Or when Madonna showed her boob on stage, and me personally even called out Justin Bieber's obsession with being shirtless, so yall should think it twice when trying to call out double standards that dont exist. Its a football game made so a lot of people can enjoy, not a place to show your ass around, and I dont care about your skin color, your weight, your age, your gender, your sexuality, your nationality, your political party, your religion, or what planet you come from. Leave that dress for Coachella or something like that intended for revealing outfits. And btw, just like when Beyonce fans try to make even the slightest negative comment about her into something racist, trying to call out racism here when I literally havent seen a single comment saying anything about Lizzo's skin color, its a very racist thing to do.
