Sophie is a Charli collaborator and I think Gaga is going for a futuristic pop sound that Charli has been doing under ground for awhile now. Charli being on this album would be the equivalent of Florence being on Joanne. Before Joanne I really wanted Gaga to collaborate with Florence and Lana, I was shook when one of those came true (even though Hey Girl was pretty underwhelming). I have hopes for Charli. And while I do enjoy Boys by Charlie and plan on giving Number 1 Angel a listen, I think Charlie would have really fit with Gaga back in the Fame days. We have no idea what this music will be like. not Chromatica 5,393 Posted December 4, 2019 Share Posted December 4, 2019 I think that one belongs in the stan fantasy realm rather than reality, given their differing vocal abilites (i.e. Charli's lack thereof) and different voices overall. Maybe Charli could be a disembodied robot voice or sumn. lol But jokes aside, the only way I could see that woking out is if Gaga's vocals were heavily modified like on some songs off ARTPOP, which I'm not mad at.
