Red 97,978
I am very impressed cause NME used to hate Gaga so badly during those times If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
DelusionalGaga 29,579
I'm surprised at their placement of Born To Die. I remember every critic sh*tting on it back then
Mr S 8,672
It's actually a great list. They didn't suck up to the usual same artists like other publication do

It was trashed by every critic for romanticising suicide and lolita and being pretentious and childish etc. and now suddenly with NFR being out and everything everyone‘s like: yes of course video games song of the decade, born to die is so great yes. as usual the gays have been knew. Reject False Icons 4,769
Well these positions are more understandable when you include many genres unlike billboard. Although they seemed to chart the most popular albums by artist I’m pleased Melodrama was placed so high despite being labeled as Pop, it will be remembered and be the key record that will secure Lorde’s career. Melodrama forever
BleepBloop 10,316
Lorde mentioned two times and in 2nd place? They ain't wrong

There are even critics that admitted that that they were too harsh, either directly or in her latest albums reviews. People need to remember how BTD came out at around the time of her SNL when she was getting major backlash. 41 minutes ago, Ryusei said: Right? If they were that much about NFR they would have put it in the top 20 instead of BTD.
Miel 15,009
BTW? 1989? Lemonade? Melodrama? NME recognizing pop excellence (I like the rest of the list, too, surprisingly!). 3 points in and ready for more
TheRealJT 2,291
The world loves Lana now. I feel like this whole decade everyone took her for granted. But now apparently everything thought her albums were amazing. Yay for Lana! Also, where is Adele?
