A lot of Biden's support comes from the African American community (a poll this week found that nationally he gets about 43% of black Dem voters), so we'd expect to see him poll lower in a state as white as Wonder Bread. Same goes for Iowa.

Buttigieg continues to show that his star is rising - but again, that's mostly confined to states with larger white populations.

Note that Gabbard gets 6% in this poll but it's not on the DNC's list of qualifying pollsters so it won't help her make the sixth Dem debate in December. She's been growing here over the past month - is she on the ground there a lot, and/or airing ads in the state?

He's doing a full multi-stop South tour starting Dec 1, visiting NC, SC and AL.

He's also beginning to air radio and TV ads in SC that will help him improve name recognition and move numbers there. I'm confident he will be the nominee next year. After Biden, he's the best positioned to take the African American vote.

He's also leading the field in Iowa by a huge margin of 6 points.

Meanwhile Pete is trailing Sanders in national polling as well as in Nevada, South Carolina, California, Texas and Massachusetts according to RCP.

Also due to his very high poll numbers with Latinos, as well as having the most Latino donations, Bernie is poised to win the most delegates from California and Nevada which is important since California has the most delegates out of all the primary states.

Let's wait until they figure out that Bernie's Medicare for all will raise their taxes, just like they figured out Warren's plan would do that.

1. There's nothing like national primaries. It happens state wise and you build momentum starting from Iowa and NH. He's poised to take the minority vote when he wins Iowa/NH.

2. Since you're fixated on national poll numbers, they are also rising. He registered 16% in Quinnipiac and 11% in Survey USA and CNN and 12% in YouGov/Economist. It's just a matter of time he'll match up to Warren/Bernie's numbers in the coming months

3. See my post above yours to see how he's expanding Black and Latino outreach efforts in SC and NV.

4. There's still 2+ months before the first vote is cast and he's in a really good position in the first two states.

1. Bernie is also ramping up his efforts in Iowa so we’ll be seeing his numbers rise. Also keep in mind that most of his base are younger voters that are underrepresented in these polls so it’s safe to say that his numbers are actually higher than what is currently being shown.

2. Pete’s numbers are rising but I highly doubt they would ever match Bernie’s or even Warren’s national numbers. The reason why their numbers are so high is because they espouse progressive ideals that are popular and that have shaped this Democratic race. Pete is no progressive. The only reason why Biden is a front runner is because of his high name recognition and association to Obama.

3. Will his efforts in SC work even though the people there know how he lied about his endorsements from black politicians? I doubt it. In regards to Nevada Bernie has a very strong foothold there due to his commitment to M4A and his comprehensive  immigration reform plan. Things that Pete either sorely lacks or doesn’t believe in.

4. There’s still 2+ months for Sanders to continue to take in the most donations from Women, Latinos, Obama-Trump counties and military families... let alone already breaking records as having the most donations overall as well as having the most volunteers and most dedicated base of support. Again more things that Pete is sorely lacking. 

Also it’s funny how you think that Pete is in a better position to take the vote of black voters than Bernie who’s numbers with those voters are already higher than Pete’s. Bernie got those numbers without having to lie about black politician endorsements btw
