I LOVED just dance, was one of my favorite songs. I was an Akon and Colby fan :laughga: and gaga was just some random singing girl I honestly didn't think much of at the time.

I was confused af she was even the same person when poker face and love game videos came out, but I loved those songs as well.

I didn't become a fan until paparazzi. But it wasn't until the Joanne era that I actually became a gaga stan. I honestly had trouble connecting with her as a person before then.

I thought she was ugly :neyde: cause it was my first time using internet and everyone would use that photoshopped pic of her with the big nose and the messy wig :air:

I was at writing a paper for one of my college classes at the time and So You Think You Can Dance was on. Me and my sister were obsessed with that show for the first few season and Gaga came on and performed Just Dance. Me and my sister just looked at each other and were like Holy sh!t she's actually singing that live and dancing. I just remember not being able to look away from her performance and actually played it back.  I was fan ever since and once AHS hit TV I became obsessed. She's my ultimate celebrity crush.

I bopped and immediately became a fan. It kinda helped because I was already a fan of Rihanna that time.

I was 55 when Just Dance was released, and on first hearing, I was, what’s thaaattt? Electric! The tune, the break/bridge, the voice, especially the wail, “Babyyyyyyyyy!” and the overall craft.  She was/sounded so different to everything else, like hearing The Beatles for the first time on the Ed Sullivan Show.  I knew, here we go, a change-maker, a talent that only comes along a couple of times per generation, seemingly. I bought “The Fame”, and, well, that was more than enough for me.  Been a fan ever since, an older “Little Monster” attending every arena show in Toronto.  I see Gaga as a peer to Barbra Streisand, Edith Piaf, and Judy Garland. I wish her a long and happy life and career, and I feel lucky to be here now to enjoy her performances.

I was around 8 or 9 when she debuted and I didn't get invested in pop music/culture until I was in my late teens but I remember loving her since always even if I wasn't necessarily following her every move or exploring her discography. She always seemed so interesting and dedicated to her craft and it was really captivating.mp3 to see her in action.

I remember watching her videos debut on MTV since YouTube was still relatively new and not as popular as it is today and the one that impressed me the most was the Alejandro video. To this day it's still one of my favorites just because of how iconic it was for little me at the time.

An honorable mention to the Telephone video because a) I love Beyoncé and b) Gaga kissing that lady in prison helped awaken the lesbian in me :diane:

Joanne was what turned me into a stan because the album came out when I was going thru a rough patch and I connected to it very deeply. From then on I started checking out her discography and became more well-versed in her life story. My love for this girl grows more and more with each passing day  :vegas:

I didn't take much notice of her or her talent to start with as I thought she was just all about her wild outfits and things.....boy was I wrong. I remember seeing her perform Paparazzi at the piano and just thinking WOW she is talented. I still love that performance to this day. Love her.

I was in college (:deadbanana:) when she premiered and at first I was NOT here for it. I thought she was a another Britney clone with annoying songs (that I found low-key very charming from time to time). I was NOT here for disco stick.

Then I randomly saw her on GMA or something singing Poker Face (I think) and I remember thinking, "Wow, she's pretty talented, she's singing live too."

From there, I started listening to her from time to time and then came her VMA performance. That truly BLEW my mind in ways I couldn't have aniticapted. I was SHOOK to the core and then immediately bought a ticket to Montreal (7 hours away in another country I'd never been to, lol) for the very first Monster Ball Tour stop.

From that moment into Bad Romance -> The Fame Monster -> TFM show I was HOOKED and DEVOUT and I've only fallen deeper and more madly obsessed since. The one true Italian queen :ally:!

I first encountered her when Just Dance played in class. Our teacher let us play pop music during lessons lol. I remember hearing Poker face in the car and feeling angry because the artist copied Just Dance. I was 10 and had no idea they were the same girl. As Gaga released music/videos, i became captivated. I finally listened to TF/TFM in 2010 and was in love..

I was 16 when JD Came out and my first boyfriend annoyed me all the time with it

he played that and Poker Face a lot and i was more into rock not these "gay" songs, i also tought they sounded the same.

But then i saw her performing Just Dance at Miss Universe and i was like HOLY **** SHE CAN SING AND DANCE

I was in love i mean the fact that every performance had different adlibs or remixes was so amazing.

i downloaded all of her performances and stanned HARD since.
