Surrender to time means that you accept that time is not something you can ever turn back or create, To surrender to time is to give up some control over things in your life. Surrender to sufficient effort means learn how to do things "good enough" rather than obsessing over perfection. Know when you have done the best you can, and make peace with that, rather than doubting yourself or thinking you could have done better/more. Surrender to the idea of "enough." Surrender to divine grace...I guess this part just goes along with the religious construct of accepting the presence of God in your life as a guide towards living a virtuous life.
