Obviously death threats are awful and nobody should make them but he doesn‘t give a sh*t about some resolution he just wants to paint taylor as the bad guy and for her not to re-record her albums. There is 0 reason for Taylor to start this „narrative“ if there wasn‘t actually something behind it. And now with her Grammy nominations I‘m sure he wants to make sure people in the music industry get second thoughts and dont vote for her. He always brings up some irrelevant sh*t that has nothing to do with anything. He‘s like: she wouldnt respond to us, when they did the same thing by not cooperating at all, forcing her to make an open statement for everyone to see. Transparent communication, visible for everyone to see and read for themselves. She doesn‘t want any closed meetings where they „talk“ (intimidate) to her because they can twist it without anyone knowing what was actually said. And Scott did this to purposely try and tie Taylor to his label, which he will sell, he wanted to catch two birds. 1. Selling the label 2. Still get to sign taylor to a new contract So that’s the tactic he used so he can tie down Taylor to a label he will be selling(that again, Taylor is not willing for her future to be an investment) So if he sold Taylor her masters right away. He will not be able to lock her in, because if ever Taylor can confidently walk away because she got her things. But that didn’t work, Taylor is a smart woman. Of course she’d prefer to just leave it all behind instead of a possible corrupt foundation getting ahold of her future works. Too risky. Bottomline, if Scott was only contented with their business relationship and the money that goes around, he wouldn’t have to sell the label, Taylor wouldn’t have been turned off by him. So he’s dumb.
