Ontario Cancels Green Energy Contracts... Screws Up Hydro Yet Again

The Ford Government is spending $231 Million cancelling some wind turbine contracts on the grounds that theres surplus power being paid for that in the long run will cost more, and that there was opposition to these mills by some municipalities and residents

 

This is the 3rd scandal involving hydro in the last few years

 

#1  previous Liberal Government signed long term pricing contracts with green energy that experts claimed even an amateur wouldnt sign given it was obvious green energy proces were falling yearly and we are still over paying gor those contracts

 

#2 the previous Liberal Government also cancelled a gas plant after spending nearly $1 Billion on it because of ongoing protests

 

#3 now the conservative governments cancellation of contracts

No wonder Ontario has electricity rates almost twice as high as Quebec and National average

 

no matter which Government we elect they consistently with no exeption they keep f*cking up hydro

 

the conservatives won a lot if points criticizing the mistakes of Liberals on their hydro screw ups and now that they are elected they screw up some more

 

what is SO DIFFICULT about electricity? Someone wanna explain why for the last 17 years every single leader and premier somehow manages to screw that up some more? Like Jesus
