Why would ASIB miss AOTY because Lukas Nelson is probably not nominated in any category but get a soundtrack nod? Shouldn't Lukas be nominated for both?

Not really. That would make the total noms of the ASIB era 7. Wich is amazing. Remember Shallow (aka the biggest part of the soundtrack) already won last year

Not nominating the best selling album of the eligibility period when there are now 8 slots instead of 5 is a snub. + ASIB was acclaimed and a cultural phenomenon. I'm kinda tired of the Grammys never awarding her the important awards.

That has happened before in recent years. Taylor for Reputation and Ed for Divide. I think ASIB can make it in though. Lets hope for the best!
