Every candidate in the history of electoral politics has made stops like this at memorials and placards to acknowledge the plight of the marginalized people they were campaigning to represent.

You're attempting to compare one presidential candidate posing for a photo in front of a Holocaust memorial so that his husband could post it on Instagram with the captain "this guy," totally ignoring the context behind the memorial and utilizing the aesthetics of the location in order to make for a visually pleasing photo (something specific to that memorial in particular, which Jewish activists have been criticizing for years) to a candidate visiting a memorial in an attempt to acknowledge the legacy of slavery inherent in the country he's attempting to lead, the photo taken by a member of the press.

This is really, really weak, dude. Come on.

THANK YOU. Im a fan. I'll follow you.

Guys, he's old af, he doesn't understand how people might interpret this wrongly in the modern age. He just took a picture with a memorial showing his support and how he's thinking about history. It's not that serious...

This isn't directed at you, but more of a general observation. What's that say about Pete and Chasten then? They're both Millennials who understand this modern attitude and social media and still posted a sexed up flexin' picture at the memorial of millions of people who died in genocide. Sanders' quote with the picture was at least memorializing the meaning of the monument. Chasten's was oozing sex and tone deafness. I think that's the significant difference.

He looks homeless.

At least he doesn't wear a $10,000+ Armani suit to give a speech about poverty and income disparity... :icega:

I think you said it all tbh. I hadn't looked up Pete's photo until now and I definitely think it was disrespectful. Anyone with a sense of compassion would be feeling dark and solemn at a holocaust memorial, but his picture and caption were lighthearted and playful. That is disrespectful to the very deep meaning of the place he is standing. Bernie Sanders looks thoughtful and poignant. It's about the context, not just the fact a photo was taken.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

@Haroon if this site is going to allow people to use the "sad" reaction to mean "pathetic"  - why don't you just make a pathetic reaction?   Same thing with the LMAO.  Or is it GGD policy that we can use the reactions for passive aggressive reasons?

are you a serious person, or are you a parody
