As anyone that has lived in this part of Canada for a while may tell you, winters are not what they used to be and snow storms in November is rather rare these days

However todays storm could be the latgest November snow storm for Toronto and region since 1940 with minimum 15cm (just under 6 inches) expected[b/]

It will be close as in 1940 it was 16.5cm. If it doesnt break that record it will still be the largest November storm since 2002

It was the first year i was in Canada and i was obsessed with snow and was so happy

i didnt realize how rare storms like that in November were tho

also look at the chart in the link... the #1 and the #3 biggest November storms were both in 1940 almost back to back (26th and then 30th)... bad year :air:

wow, winter in north america is really rough compared to europe

early this year we had a snowfall of around the same amount (not really a snowstorm, since most of it fell in a period of 6-7 hours) but i remember clearly how around 5cm fell in less than half an hour, and the traffic was catastrophic.

it took me 3 hours to get to school when it normally takes around 20 minutes.

stay safe and drive carefully
