The US has a long history of getting involved in **** like this but I also disagree with eliminating term-limits. HOWEVER, in 2017 I think the highest court in Bolivia decided to remove it. But this was after a referendum where people wanted to keep them. I think they're necessary. Honestly, I didn't like him and I still don't like him but the fact the Honduran military backed by the US (Hillary Clinton) just removed a sitting president is so ****ing disturbing. I remember people cheering in my family but now look at Honduras with how worse it has become. The current president is corrupt af, so nothing was achieved except keeping a US backed president in power. There was also election fraud in Honduras in 2017, I witnessed it as they stopped reporting live results when the leftist candidate started winning. On top of that, the current president essentially changed the constitution and got rid of the one-term presidency that was the norm in Honduras. I bet he'll try to get elected a third time. Trash. I'm getting a similar vibe with this idk. I've heard good and bad things about Evo Morales but I'm not informed enough to have a strong stance about his resignation. He wanted another term people voted no in a referendum he said f*ck it and ran again in a fraudelent election. PEOPLE WERE NOT HAPPY so they took the streets. If people were sick of Morales, that's fine. But this coup-like strategy just stinks of CIA/US involvement. The more I read the more I see it. It all feels so... orchestrated? I get that Morales may not have been the ideal President or had 'clean' hands, but what will happen to all the social and environmental progress made around the world?
